Morning fellow ovlov chaps. Just dropping by to say " Holy mother of god does my car feel better now!". My S60 T's being running rough as a badgers §§§§§§§§ ever since I bought it really. Rough idling between 500-800 rpm when on tick-over at traffic lights. Since fitting the bad boy powerflow to it a couple weeks ago, it was really starting to grind me, while sat at lights the car would sound as you were sat revving the engine like G-unit in a lawnmower nova! Enough was enough! after doing some research and reading danny-R's MAF issues thread. I picked up on this link to youtube regarding cleaning the ETM unit. So Saturday afternoon I took the car apart. This lot. Image Made this hole. Image Which lead to this coming out and being cleaned up. (unfortunately I forgot to take the picture of it dirty. But believe me it was §§§§ up!) Image Image So after a couple of cups of tea, some swearing, scrapped knuckles and lots of carb cleaner. Optimus was back together and running sweeter than ever. Image Until next time. Yours truly, S60-UUB

Bloody marelli throttles... at least the cleaning helped but those throttles are nasty things. Looks like you did a thorough job there mate, I only took off the pipe to the throttle when I cleaned mine but it's a fair bit smaller. The best bit is, like you said, the massive difference you get when you put it all back together :) Well done :) Car looks nice BTW ;)

You sure can't bomb :) and the £400 odd quid it would have cost me at my local friendly stealers. And yes I only realised the barrier cream was right next to me until I'd finished. Still got grubby finger nails!
