GT-Four engine - yum yum ;) I want updates on this one mate ;)
I bought the car as it is in the picture... 17 inch alloys running ex touring car slicks. Welded in roll cage with buckets seats and 3 point harnesses to hold me down :) Engine wise she is pretty much standard apart from a K&N, dump valve and the fan wired to be on constant to keep her cool on track outings. EBC discs with yellow stuff pads to help her stop and i *think* the shocks and springs are standard (but jeez they're solid!) Plans for her in the near future is a small paint job to the bonnet & rear wing (yellow i was thinking) to make her stand out! And possibly some adjustable coilovers when the old shocks have had it!
That engine was about 225bhp wasn't it? They take a bleed valve well iirc. I've heard of these things making silly power but they get unreliable and the short wheelbase makes them twitchy with too many ponies. Been in a standard one in the wet and it was a loon :D
It must be around the 200bhp-ish mark im sure. Ive known the previous 2 owners for years and they both said they left the engine alone with upping the boost etc to keep the reliability :) Its a surprisingly easy car to drive quick (on a smooth track) with a hint of over-steer on throttle, lift off slightly and it steps back in, very predictable! She upsets alot of big expensive toys on the Anglesey circuit! Not tracked her in the wet, might be a total pig for all i know in the wet :D
Wear brown trousers lol.
I've had celica's through the years, is this a type 2 or 3 engine? I've worked for toyota & my dad has for 20 years so I have a bit of a soft spot. Be an excellent track car. Btw, yellow wheels to match the bonnet & wing. Lol

Oh & Ty Croes is an excellent circuit. Had many a stage at the rally's there as a co driver. :)
Yellow wheels... could look different to say the least! :D I'm not sure what version the engine is to be honest, first time I've ever owned a Toyota, let alone an import mr2 turbo! :D so its all new ground for me atm. Ill be doing my homework the next few weeks for sure!
With regards to a yellow bonnet, wing & wheels, anyone handy enough with Photoshop to give it a go for me?? pleeeease??? :D
I don't have the software on this PC mate, and I'm away for the weekend so no go til monday night I'm afraid :( sorry.
If I remember rightly the filter is on the side on the 3 & facing the rear on a 2 but I maybe wrong. Lol It'll be sweet if kept pretty standard like you say.
The air filter is to the side, the passenger side iirc
Sorry pal, oil filter. Lol
Ah, then i have no clue :D
when I'm not dRiving my Volvo:

286BHP in a E30 is more than enough:ukliam2:
