Front seat removal

I need to change the drivers seat (manual) on my 2002 C70 2.0 GT. Using the Haynes manual as a guide I've taken the side plastic cover off where the seat adjusters are but found no sips key in the holder nor anywhere for the key, if it were there, to plug in to stop the seat airbag going off if I start removing the seat. The cover has sips written on it and there is a sticker on the door pillar advising of its presence. Am I not looking in the right place?

This is what an 850 one looks like if it helps. Image

When I swapped the front seats from a '00 C70 T5 to my 850 T5 I Just disconnect the battery so no worry of airbags going off.

I never bothered. I just unplugged the seats from the loom.
