Just spotted that too.....roll on 8PM
Oh baby... Quite surprised to see the toyota auris on it. Crap but I was one of the first people to see the prototype. Not a bad car, even though its not a Volvo. I wonder if its the new reasonably priced car..
can't wait
I reckon the reasonably priced car will be a Hyundai i30.
I reckon the reasonably priced car will be a Hyundai i30.
.....or a Starlet
.....or a Starlet
It's a reasonably priced car, not piece of crap ;)
Just seen that tosser Clarkson in my car *grrr*
They certainly rated the Fiesta ST as a great car.
I rate the mk7 fiesta. My mum had a 1.4tdi & it was a pocket rocket. I like that st.
I rate the mk7 fiesta. My mum had a 1.4tdi & it was a pocket rocket. I like that st.
What mk are we on now?
Would have never guessed an Astra
Would have never guessed an Astra
No, looks like they went for a piece of crap after all.
No, looks like they went for a piece of crap after all.
looks like this series is being funded by a couple of major manufactures to me
Felt this episode is leading into a stronger series than the last
They certainly rated the Fiesta ST as a great car.
ford have always has the best hot hatches or i should say best performance cars in 80 and 90's. they just got lost for a few years
What mk are we on now?
8 I think but the 7 may of had a face lift. My mums was an 08 but wasn't a new model. The Astra is a strange choice. Be interested to see if they say when it breaks!
ford have always has the best hot hatches or i should say best performance cars in 80 and 90's. they just got lost for a few years
If I were looking for that sort of car I would probably go for the Fiesta ST. Who are these hot hatches aimed at now. Most 17-20 year olds will no doubt find it difficult to insure such a car.
ford have always has the best hot hatches or i should say best performance cars in 80 and 90's. they just got lost for a few years
Not agreeing there mate, I had a mk2 xr2 that was §§§§ until I lowered it. My xr3i cab was good fun (the women loved it) but slow. My rs turbos fell apart. I swore never to have ford but mums did make me rethink. I'd love a focus st someday.
Still want an orange one lol
Still want an orange one lol
I'd like a grey one, face lift with the dark headlights. Wedding & kids first though. Lol
xr2 most fun car ive has. all modded and quick at time. had a rs turbo cabbie. looked nice but no reliability. but look at other motors they did. big fin cosworth.s1 turbo. mk1 amd 2 escort. proper classic cars and will only ever gain value.
Maybe but have you seen the price of clean nova gsi's & Astra gte 16v's lately? My nova sr ate xr2's for fun. My gte was the best car I've owned.
not seen it yet as we had a 2hr power cut. I am waiting for it to turn up on catch-up.
I'd like a grey one, face lift with the dark headlights. Wedding & kids first though. Lol
Don't like the dark headlights tbh. Already done the wedding n kid thing, however thinking age might be against me for a boy racer type car lol
zzzzzzz im going ot turn it off shortly
No one's forcing you to watch it.
Just do what i do and record it, then you can skip the boring bits.......last weeks took about 15mins to watch pmsl!!
Wonder where they filmed the F12 test. Looks familiar
Wonder where they filmed the F12 test. Looks familiar
Really? Lets go! :) I didn't think it was as good as last week.
Really? Lets go! :) I didn't think it was as good as last week.
really???? So its gonna take me even less than 15mins to watch lol
1st and last article were good - the rest was complete tosh.
No one's forcing you to watch it.
i switched it off. the specials are good but the series isnt what it used to be. cant keep repeating the same thing over and over.
Really? Lets go! :) I didn't think it was as good as last week.
Think the town he was driving through was Pitlochry which possibly means he was on the A9
half an hour till the next episode
Have a Look what's on after aswell.
hour warning call folks, been told its the Transit hovercraft episode
It's all staged but it has been very funny
very funny episode
Much better than previous weeks
Was funny but lacking car features. That electric merc was a cracking colour though. Lol
All is not lost if we have to go electric, it'll be possible to hoon it for 1/2 an hour in a car, then wait nearly a day for a recharge.
I think top gear is getting a bit long in the tooth and needs to be replaced with a more interesting programme.
I think top gear is getting a bit long in the tooth and needs to be replaced with a more interesting programme.
Or, don't watch it. ;)
All is not lost if we have to go electric, it'll be possible to hoon it for 1/2 an hour in a car, then wait nearly a day for a recharge.
My mate works on the rigs. He argues till he's blue in the face that oil won't run out so hopefully that day won't come.
Or, don't watch it. ;)
I didn`t :P
I think top gear is getting a bit long in the tooth and needs to be replaced with a more interesting programme.
i agree mate, its become boring. you can predict whats going to happen befor it happens.
And yet you still watch it. :slap:
My mate works on the rigs. He argues till he's blue in the face that oil won't run out so hopefully that day won't come.
There is only a finite amount of oil, though it won't run out in our lifetime. :D They can produce synthetic fuels now anyway, so we'll never have to lose the sound of a decent engine at full chat. :D
Having just watched last sundays episode, am i the only one that thought the reason that the electric merc beat the petrol version, in that short drag race, was because it got off the line better due to it having awd?
less than 2hrs till the last one of the series
Watch out for me in audience, RR sport and F Type tonight, I met Mark Webber too very nice man who likes Porsches.
