I am free on the 21st as well, though I'm sure Steve and Rachel will prefer Avon. As always with meets etc not everyone will be able to make the same day, it's inevitable that with work etc people like myself and Sharkey R will not be at every 'Softies' meet, tbh I think we (M-R-P) need to pick a date and stick with it, and just see who turns up.

So for the Softies meet on the 14th that is now happening on the 21st, I have some maintenance work being carried out on site. If it finished early enough I'll try to make it down, but basically count me out (even after 16:00!!)

Sorry to have missed this one guys :( Went up to Norf London Saturday to pick up a kitten from Belinda's brother with the plan being to call in at the Vine on the way back. Sadly we left too early and passed J2 about 12:30 and I couldn't convince Belinda to stop off. I spent Friday afternoon cleaning and polishing the car in 28 degrees ready for today, lost half a stone easily doing it too :) I had even built up the courage to let Martin have a drive in it to see what he thought of the brakes because they don't instill a lot of confidence under heavy breaking, they seem far too soft to me???

When was the last time you changed your brake fluid ? A good bleed and fluid change works wonders.

A good brake bleed with Dot 4.1 or better works wonders if they're feeling a bit soft. Might be worth looking at the hoses too as they can swell when they get old. I'll let you look at my shiny new brakes mate, maybe even stroke them lol but fitting them to your car is a nono, considering what I have to do to my stub axle to fit them lol.

Anyone know anything about them? Think I'll get the fluid changed and hoses checked and get ready for some shiny braided ones.
