Well im sure it would have happened eventually as they are petrol monsters but ,Both the v70 and s80 T6 AWD have now been deleted from the volvo uk line up. :( very sad as they was the closest thing to a fast volvo in the line up :( Oh well

i believe it is because the model is being replaced in the next 18 months, so the performance models always get deleted first so that the popular (likely those horrible diesel things ) can be produced until model end. this is pretty normal. replacements - 2015 model year i believe so probably at a motor show toward the end of the year or start of next. c70 folding hardtop has gone already, new xc90 comming in the same time frame - its all change again! mind you , the xc90 is so overdue it is getting silly.
i just hope they have something at the top of the range thats worth aiming for tho

who knows? - the t6 is getting a bit old now, the original t4 eventually went because of emissions standards so they may be replaced by a more modern smaller capacity but similar output engine. like the fact the 1.6T can now make 200bhp. sales of these variants would be pretty low due to taxation as well - anybody with this sort of money might well buy an audi, beemer or range rover.
Didn't realise the c70 had been dropped you are rite the 90 needs replacing but its still a nice motor
