Quick update, Claymore's gearbox has developed a leak, so he's not allowed to run. Judges turbo is making a bid for freedom, so needs bolting back on, and our R's clutch is playing up.:(

Just home from another great days racing, good to meet Dean and indie_house and of course all the 'regulars'
Colin had some bad luck and with his oil leak was unfortunately only allowed a couple of runs, Rachel also ran into a few problems with the cluch on the R not playing ball, Wayne's problems were however able to be fixed and he posted a most impressive time of 14.19 :B_thumb:
As to my own times.....well I started off well and on my second run I beat my pb by 0.30 seconds to record a 15.36 unfortunately it all seemed to go downhill from there though I will say that nearly all my times beat my previous outing so either I'm getting better or the new TCV and M-R-P pipe work have made a difference (me thinks the latter)
It did begin to bother me that no matter what I tried I couldn't seem to better my times and so Neal took my car out for a run, with the following results :
Me 15.36 @ 94.84 mph
Neal 15.22 @ 94.60 mph
Now he obviously is not used to my car, but he does have a lot more experience at this sort of thing so I was not that upset at only being 0.14 behind him, maybe it's the ME7 holding me back.
Neal did however comment that my car was sooooo smooth and quiet and in 'real world' driving had plenty of power where it mattered.....I must be doing something right.

Great day, now sitting at the local services eating a Bugger king(needed the drink more than anything!). Day started OK, but a bit disappointedly to start: (VP18) 14.92188@98.6 vs Stribo(VP40) 14.92187@95.87 - 0.00001sec in it, but I was declared winner on reaction time. 14.609@99.29 vs GrahamV70(VP42) 15.361@94.84 14.722@98.37 vs T22?? 14.669@97.66 vs VP43(woody??) 13.774@109.1 15.267@93.03 vs T17 OK started to worry as none of these times were better than when the car was standard. Having a quick look over the car I noticed the Turbo had again unbolted itself!!! So much for ATS using new nuts!! I scrounged some bolts from a friendly drag racer and waited for the car to cool and bolted it up again. Whilst parked up I bolted on some nice Tarmac slicks from Claymore(thanks) and Then back out: 14.817@98.56 14.305@99.7 ....woohoo!!!! first one better than standard..then... 14.198@100.15..... = NEW PERSONAL BEST FOR ALL CARS!! I didn't improve the rest of the day, but had fun trying... 14.85@99.56 14.55@98.75 14.54@99.11 15.52@79.34 - Lost power when battery terminal fell off 14.37@100.35 14.86@98.43 14.86@98.06 So 15 runs in all and I achieved my target.... Next level 14.00... Great day with the 'softies' as usual and welcome to "indahouse", I hope you make it to more meets!! Shame about Claymores car.. Relski's S60R.. Hope they are't too bad.. I didn't see any m3's on the way home. But I did get pulled on the way home after using a bit of boostI In second gear to take a gap as the road went from 2 lanes to ones. I was so good on the way home aswell. 60 mph all the home on the motorway. Funny thing was the po po said that they were expecting to see some young boy racer in the car and seemed shock when they pulled up beside me. Will have to be careful for a few days now. Ooops

.....unfortunately the sound is there under heavy acceleration as if a lay shaft is lifting off its mounting. But I will have a good look. Best case it is an engine mount making a driveshaft rub against something...

I managed 13.96 on a 19T - I am yet to be convinced that the way the ME7 throttle works is a limiting factor. What are you running now? OTS remap & stock turbo, plus a couple of intake mods?

We had a great day yesterday, I probably got 10 or so runs in the C70, and we got 5 in the R before we rested it up. Bit of a strange one, the clutch pedal wasn't returning all the way to the top by itself after a run, once pulled back up it was fine, and has been since, one I'll have to keep an eye on I think. Was great to finally meet Dean(WoodyT5), really nice bloke, stunning car, and gave me some handy tips, thanks mate. Well done to Inde_house for popping his drag strip cherry, nice looking car, with some good mods. Was good to see the regular faces, and race a couple of them, had a great side by side race with Ade, and beat Wayne by 100,000th of a second, only to lose on reaction time. My fastest time of the day was 14.74 which wasn't great, but the headwind seemed to be keeping times slower. Was a great way to end the season, now to do some work over the winter to bring the times down next year.

The bush was intact, but had made a bid for freedom, but anyway I Swapped over the bush from the spare car..(ooooh the luxury!!). Then had a look under the car and the result is that both front and rear bushes have gone.
Now I need a poly bush link..
