Did anyone ever ring the 'Dick Turpin' and get an explanation ?

I'm sure there are plenty of other places we can frequent, what area are we looking at? Shall we stick to Southend/Wickford/Basildon area or do people fancy something slightly further north or south of Essex? Timings wise I can be about any Sunday this month other than the 3rd one :)
did get a reply from area manager....................apparently we are "intimidating" other customers and "overtaking the car park"................when it was mentioned that there was over £100 spent on that day by "volvo drivers" he stated that "we can do without your custom".................can you geuss dawns reply...................he ended by saying that if there were less than 5 cars we would be welcome back but any more would be asked to leave....................... on a lighter note i am waiting for a phone call from the manager of the "halfway house" which is about 3 or 4 miles further down the A127 towards london i'll chase him up tomorrow (nice pub, big car park, but food not as cheap, but there is a "little thief" next door) due to commitments i can only do the 18th this month but if it's no good to others i'll see you all next month
There you go peeps, So if anyone lives near wickford or has friends and family near the Dick Turpin pub Arterial Rd Wickford, Essex SS12 9HZ 01268 726205 dont bother going there as they can afford to pick and choose there customer's.

Intimidating my ££££, such a shame as we have been to some good meets there, it really amazes me in this day and age how places can turn away custom....wouldn't have happened at 'The Vine' lol
Lol what! I went dick turpin last night for there weekly bike meet every tuesday there was around 250-300 motorbikes there but thats not as intimidating as 5-10 big 5 pot sweeds siting there quietly talking.
If the halfway house fails theres alway festival leisure park big carpark where knowone will moan the quays pub with a 2 for £10 deal (different company to dick turpin) and a good beer garden overlooking the lake.

oh yes festival leisure park they also got the indian and Chinese buffet there............not that I go there much ;)
