I bought a Ferrita exhaust, and downpipe today from a guy who is breaking his C70, but I didn't notice until I got home that where the downpipe joins the exhaust is a ball and socket arrangement. I've had this before on my Cougar, but there was a plate either side of the joint, these bolted together, and held everything in place, however this exhaust and downpipe doesn't have those plates on them, so how do I join them?
Also does anyone know if the pre ME7 has a 16t with straight or angled flange?

Pre me7 is a straight turbo exit, I cant tell by the pic what bore size the pipe work is, But the Clamp from the Volvo's original centre silencer to cat would probably do it.

Thanks chaps, clamp ordered, just got to keep my fingers crossed I've got a straight flanged turbo. :)

if your C70 is ME7 it will deffo be angled flange

From the look of the exhaust you need the clamp claymore recommended along with what's called an olive..like a donut shaped metal spacer.

It's pre ME7, though the exhaust and dp came off a ME7 C70.
