Derek and his sons are coming up to see the two Rs, so we will get a few photos even if the weather is rubbish. Shame the S60 isn't able to attend.

Here you go guys, weather was worse than rubbish!!! but was still a good day.

Nice colour contrasts there! Indeed a great selection of cars and as good look as they all are the phase 1 still takes the trophy. You must be itching to drive it Martin, I'm still at a loss as to how you resist tbh...
all 3 looking good and well polished great photos
loove the pictures

The P2 trumps it when it comes to a driving car.
and ive just made a mess, thanks for that lol AWESOME PICS
I don't understand how the alloys on both cars look different shades, they are the same colour code.
Indeed andy, my p1 is my favourite of the 2 but only to look at... so I want to keep it in the condition its in. The P2 trumps it when it comes to a driving car.
Really ?!?!? I hope you wiped the water off it before you popped it back into hibernation... lol
Positioning of the wheel the way the light hits the wheel and the colour of the car probably play a big part in the answer to that question...
All 3 motors looking great,at least you got some nice beading shots.
and ive just made a mess, thanks for that lol AWESOME PICS
I would have moved the cars around but it was lashing down. Next time though the S60 will have to cime join
why doesnt the v70r get drivin?
Really ?!?!? I hope you wiped the water off it before you popped it back into hibernation... lol
Yeah its just that much better to drive, it would run rings round it.. I wish I could say yes! But I had nothing on me to do it with. I will go over later on in the week and qd it and get the cover back on.
Some great examples of V70Rs there. :B_thumb:
Positioning of the wheel the way the light hits the wheel and the colour of the car probably play a big part in the answer to that question...
I think you are rite about the colour thing. The hubs and calipers are silver and with the car being a lighter shade it must make a difference.
And not a proper 4x4 in sight.:hidesbehi: smlove2:
why doesnt the v70r get drivin?
I want to keep it as good as I can, I couldn't afford to maintain 3 cars and I wouldnt want the car to start showing its age.. I know its not good to not run the car but it still starts faster than the P2 and the engine is just as quite. Parts probably will seize but it will still be cheaper to replace them when I need to than if I was driving the car all the time. It still flew through it MOT last year and it had all its fluids changed.
Thats cool buddy, just wondered lol awesome ;)
If there is ever a volvo model car like that produced I may sell it but until then I will keep the full scale one ;)
Three awesome looking cars, Love the contrast in the colours! :)
If there is ever a volvo model car like that produced I may sell it but until then I will keep the full scale one ;)
I think your time out in the wet weather today has made you unwell.... That has got to be the first you've said sell when referring to the phase 1 and it not have a never in front of it...

For what I would get for it, I would spend it in no time and have nothing to show for it. If jack likes it he will get it when he is older lol
Great Pics Martyn, I just knew mine being parked slightly back would annoy me! Just a shame about the weather we could have moved them about a bit as you send. We will sort that next time.
With his Dad owning 3 Volvo's and his granddad owning an S60R I don't think there is much danger of him not wanting a Volvo when he's older... lol
Great cars, I'd have any of them in a heartbeat.
Fantastic Martin, all 3 cars look great. Whats the mileage on your ph1 now?
Three awesome looking cars, Love the contrast in the colours! :)
It would have been even better with a gull and a laser that would have been volvos boldest colours.
Fantastic Martin, all 3 cars look great. Whats the mileage on your ph1 now?
It rolled passed 90k when I used it for my wedding. Gutted! Wish it was lower millage.

90k is still low mileage ;)
I did notice derek and my rip kits where different, mine is metal and his is painted plastic. The clips across the top of the bumper are different too. Mine are the push in type and his is something I havnt seen before.
90k is still low mileage ;)
Yeah is still low but Graham's is still lower so he better jog on and get passed mine.
Yeah is still low but Graham's is still lower so he better jog on and get passed mine.
Mine rolled over to 69,000 last week, and at about 5,000 a year I've got a good 4 years 'jogging' to do yet lol
Mine rolled over to 69,000 last week, and at about 5,000 a year I've got a good 4 years 'jogging' to do yet lol
Martins is better though as its homo gold lol.
Martins is better though as its homo gold lol.
Can't argue with that lol
Mine rolled over to 69,000 last week, and at about 5,000 a year I've got a good 4 years 'jogging' to do yet lol
5k a year is nuts lol
Martins is better though as its homo gold lol.
That colour was soo 98
