hello, im new to the volvo ownership and im not sure why i havnt done it sooner. i have always had toyota hiluxes and last week my dialy changed its mind about holding fuel in her injector pump so i went out an got a 1989 240 glt and love her! few issues need adressing, little rot an colapsed seats an would like to do a turbo conversion at some point. but she is fantastic!! cheers

Welcome to the club, we are all big fans of the rwd bricks... :) My advice to you is turbo it & turn the boost right up. Our man smithy may be able to point you in the right direction & don't be fooled by his "140bhp" claims. When his car is roadworthy it won't be shy at all.

cheers mate, yer my inicial plan was compleatly differnt to now. idd like to lower her abit and fit a turbo head. bit out of my comfort zobe as ive only ever worked an modified hiluxes so it should be fun. ive done abit of drifting in the past, wouldnt mind the od cadual slipe in thunderbird one here. cheers folks! friendly forum
