Hi all, I'm new to the scene, recently bought an ex police S60 T5 2004 model. Any suggestions on modifying???? Don't want to spend silly amounts but a few nice mods to get more power would be nice ;) Also any suggestions on a recirc valve??? Preferably a noisy one to annoy my neighbour when I go to work in morning :) Thanks Glenn

Welcome along, the easiest mod is an air filter replacement. Cone ones are the noisiest but panel filters are much the same +BHP wise..

Welcome Glenn, Personally, I'd spend my first few hundred ££ on a good service and perhaps a dyno session - it'll give you a starting point for the mods - remap being the first :)

welcome. remap will cost 250 and up, for more noise, get a cone filter and take the soundproofing off the bonnet :)

http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/ may be able to get you a bov kit from d088 http://www.do88.se/sv/artiklar/volvo-s60_v70n-turbo-dump-kit.html not sure if ipd will do a kit too, i know they do for the later 2.4t5/R but most stuff like this is available from the usa.... what kinda parts u after?

Welcome to the forum. If you have a 2.4 then you'll have a cone filter already, though you can change it for a K&N or Pipercross, also leaving the lid off the airbox will make it a bit louder. Graeme Welch can make you a stainless exhaust system, and downpipe with race cat for a good price, I'm sure he'll be along soon.

In that case you have a panel filter, easy enough to change for a cone though. ;)

Welcome to the club, best filter for sound and looks is cone, power they are both near enough the same.
