Hello all,
Im currently building the first T5 powered Mazda RX7. Its going well so far! This is definitely the best place to come for performance parts and engine advice!
Build so far; B5234FT engine mounted to GETRAG 265/5 (BMW gearbox) with KL adaptor plate, green injectors, ME7 inlet manifold with 3" TB, 19T Kinugawa turbo with adjustable wastegate (not holding my breath on that one!) and custom exhaust manifold, 3" MAF and intake with Apexi cone filter, custom mapped mototronic 4.4 ECU to accommodate mods (by a chap called Northern Fisher on ebay, seems a nice chap, lots of happy customers). 3" titanium exhaust, modified 960 sump, the list goes on.
I know, 19T = bendy rods. Il take that risk for now. Il build a forged engine later in the year / next year, with a rolling road tune and a garrett turbo.
Mounted in a R1 Mazda FD3s RX7, yet to do is propshaft, wiring loom, build a downpipe, etc etc etc.

As above, 19T does not always mean bendy rods, its all down to the mapping, looks like a good project, keep up the good work.

Thanks all for the welcome. I'll be making a build thread when the car is running and usable. Hopefully next month if time permits.
Glad to hear that people are having good experiences with the 19t and stock bottom ends....

Welcome to the forum, as above mapping is key to not bending your rods, and not fitting a MBC, and turning it up to 11.;)
