Hello All,
New to the forum, but been a life long volvo man.
Dad brought me home soon after I was born in his 122. Between him and his brothers, they had gone through 144, 164, 244, 264, 240, 760 and 940.
Having the Volvo DNA ingrained from birth, my first car was the Bertone bodied 262C. With its cropped roof and the induction roar from the V6 PRV unit, it was a very special car.
I ran it for about 4 years, but being much younger back then, I needed to sample faster offerings from other marques.
Returned to Volvo in 2006, when I picked up the car you see below. Its a 2002 D5 SE 7 seat. Got it with 60k on the clock and it hit 176k this week.
Only mods I had done to it are the nebulas and xenons.
The original clutch packed up after 172k and having recently splashed out on the LUK replacement, I am going to keep it and get a few more years out of the car.
With the current miles, I think its time to change the shocks.
8 years is the longest I have ever kept any car and in my books that speaks volumes about its reliability........there, now that I've said it, everything will start to go wrong.
