I shall choose my words carefully..... If anyone is considering using Music Magpie to sell stuff, then I would strongly encourage you to check their Facebook page and also Google and read the various review websites first. Why am I posting this here? Simply because I know that not everyone would think to check them out first, and many would go by face value and trust that a well know (i.e. well marketed) company would be trustworthy, so I see this as doing a courtesy towards fellow like-minded people. Quite simply, the running theme is that when they receive your order, a percentage of items may be deemed by them to be missing, damaged, faulty, etc etc. Whatever the term used, the outcome is that they may not pay you for those items, but they also won't return them either. This is stated in their T&Cs, and hence they are protected. Speaking personally, even understanding those T&Cs, I never for a second suspected that any item would be rejected as all were in acceptable or perfect condition and accounted for as they were packed. For those many people that have experienced this, the common theme again is that the rejected items are those that were of the highest value in the order. So that's it in a nutshell. Yes they offer a convenient service, but their T&Cs mean that you could effectively be handing over your property for free for them to then profit from, and in that respect you may as well just donate your items to charity instead. Proceed with caution.
