Hi, just to let everyone know that I have joined this forum. I have, until the end of the week, a 2012 C30 D3 Powershift. On Friday I will be exchanging it at Bristol Volvo for a 2008 (2009 model) V50 2.0d SE Lux with 46000 miles. The C30 is a brilliant car but our two dogs do not have enough room. We used to have a 2010 V70 but that was too big. (A bit like the three Bears). I have been trolling the internet forums to try and ascertain whether the V50 has to have that additive stuff Eolys added for the DPF system. No luck so asked Bristol Volvo and eventually got the answer that no, it doesn't need that additive, it has the 'for life' DPF system. I might have got the answer on this forum but didn't find it in time.

Welcome - I have the S40 2.0D R-Design (MY2008) - which is a lovely family car and quite rapid now its been remapped.
