I ordered a set of these to modernise the front of the v70 they fit v40 s70 960 850 v70 p1 http://www.polar-parts.de/body_parts/mirror_assembly/mirror_cover/mirror_caps_with_indicator_white_i60_982_0.htm I got mine from Ebay And they cost more but found the same ones cheaper after mine came I think once painted they will defo be a unique look on the v70 I did try making these two years ago and failed Image Image Image Image Image here they are ready for primer lens's removed Image Image Image and now with 2 coats of primer ready for top coat Image Image and the first of many topcoats Image Image well today they got 5 layers of topcoat and 6 layers of laquer and i have refitted the leds Image Image and a test fit on the car Image well iwas going to splice the left hand indicator into 24/2e-15 and24/2e-14 for the right this is the white 19pin plug on the firewall above the drivers pedals which might be a bit easier then my first thoughts after looking at the wiring diagrams

sorry to see that you have found the answer to the question I was just about to ask ...... they only fit LHD. I have some of these in stock if anybody is interested and found the same thing. the angle of the mirror body is different. I asked the supplier if it might have been a moulding fault , but this was the reason I traced it to. you could modify the existing housing, and put in the led repeaters if you cut it very carefully?

Post 689937 by Thanatos on 2014-02-17 17:19:13

modding the RHD ones to fit is going to be a last resort as these are slightly moulded where the led's are and the screw holds the leds in to the housing isn't available on the Normal Housings either getting hold of a set of LHd Mirrors To Pack a side of the Motor mount out to make the Mirror angle useable on a rhd car
