headlights permanently on

Looking for some help with this problem, ive tried everything, even with the switch removed the lights are permanently on, any solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated

Later v40's are on, full stop. My 04 plate was like that but my 52 plate can be turned on and off as read. Nowt wrong so it, stop mithering Ste :-)

Just take the bulbs out then simples :)

850 has a little screw on the switch V70 - can't do anything

It doesnt bother me that they are permanently on, but you cant just switch to sidelights only. But if they are supposed to be like that...

You need to electronically disable them.

If its your S40 then try this Ignition at pos 0 Turn light switch to 'sidelights' Ignition to pos II Pull on full beam and hold Turn light switch to '0' Release full beam Ignition off
