Just a quick one, on the headlight switch on my V70 http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Volvo-S70-V70-C70-Headlight-Sidelight-Switch-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/9BkAAOxyF81SA-2K/$%28KGrHqN,!qUFHeL2Nhk+BS!-2Kk-M!~~60_12.JPG, if only sidelights are selected should the sidelight symbol light up (main beam does if this is selected)? If it should, is there a bulb that can replaced, or do I just live without it?
In answer to my own question (and coz I finally got off my arse to have a look!), yes a bulb was out. It's one of the little cap type ones that are about a fiver from Volvo. I've bought some of the following -http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/12v-wire-terminal-type-bt43w and with a bit of patience will take the old one apart and make a new one. It will also save a couple of quid when replacing other bulbs.
Sorry mate, didn't see this originally. How do you fancy doing a how to when you change the bulb, might help some other members out in the future.
