Hi all. My C70 stereo is playing about and was thinking if upgrading it too my jvc dvd player. Where can I find the wiring diagram for the volvo head unit, or has anyone on here done this who can advise. I'm only using my DVD head unit so I can get loads of music on a disc. Won't be watching it on a screen. Many thanks.
You should be able to get the leads ready made to convert it, ebay is your friend.;)

I had exactly this RCA wire to connect my Pioneer head unit DEHP-945 on amplier VOLVO (Alpine reality) and it really worked very well. A very good solution.
Do you have to have a stereo with 4 rca out puts as my jvc only has 2!
Yes my pioneer have 4 RCA. Your JVC have just 2 RCA?
I have a nice sony stereo inc. 6 CD multichanger, remote, IPOD connection (older wide connector), cd slot in HU plus usual FM radio etc & Volvo loom (plug & play). 50 quid?
Sorry to jump in but I have been trying to fit an aftermarket sony head unit into my S70. After the local motorfactors sold me a iso connector for a normal S70 without built in amplifier, lots of power but no sound. It seems I also will need the adaptor above, plugs from amplifier lead into RCA ports on back of stereo. Is there a connector that you can buy to go from OEM Volvo cd changer lead to Sony head unit as they are different. cheers
