Some might remember I bought a Miltek back box recently, but when my garage went to fit it on they found that my original centre pipes had been welded to my rear box due to corrosion issues with the original clamps. To get the Miltek to fit would involve more welding which I didn't fancy doing as if I wanted to revert to standard in the future it would be a ball ache. I sold the Miltek on but decided I still wanted the bigger tips so opted for some Euro tips. These arrived this morning so out I went and had some fun fitting them. The originals are held on with three pop rivets, the bottom two are easy to drill out, but the top one is a bugger due to I couldn't get my drill in, so had to chisel it off and then tap out the remainder. Once off the new ones slide on and you just pop rivet them on. I'm very happy with the look, they certainly fill out the valance area better. Image Image Image Image Image The car is nearly where I wanted it to be, since picking her up last February I've done the following. Oil service Complete new rear floor fitted (done under warranty from BMW) Electric rear blind fitted Original analogue tv and amp upgraded to freeview tv and amp twice as powerful now. Original stereo added to so full Ipod control and various functions on car now can be fine tuned by myself. Euro tips. Real carbon fibre overlay on dash trims. 2010 M5 illuminated gear knob. Replaced rear abs sensor x 1 M3 number plate Arriving next week, a new steering wheel, perforated padded leather sides, alcantara top and bottom and M sticthing all round

How much of a job is it to get BMW to do the floor pan? I assume it's easier with it being an m3 compared to 330ci etc?

BMW don't mess about and just replace the whole rear floor pan and also inject resin and the bill is around £4000. Mine was within the 10 year goodwill repair so didn't pay anything. If there small cracks a few specialists can reinforce the original floor for about £1600.

Exhaust look very good, I think a carbon rear bumper trim around the exhaust would look good too!!
