Hi guys, after a long spell with BMW and Porsche im back in a V70 again and living in Norway. As soon as I sat back in a Volvo I knew I had made the right decision! She is an old one so expect plenty of questions on how to fix it over the next year. Its good to be back.

Hi Martyn hows I going? What ever happened to my old V70R? Did you keep it for long? My new ones just a standard 2.4 non-turbo but in Norway the car prices are mental so an R was out of the question!

Hello & :welcome: er back Where abouts in Norway fella? I was in Stavanger for 4 years running a Volvo 440, nice place. I bet the road toll booths that started appearing everywhere are even more expensive now...http://www.newsinenglish.no/2012/07/16/road-toll-system-baffles-visitors/ I used to get regular bills sent to the UK, when I drove through on the way to work and forgot to pay

Yeah im in Stavanger. The toll system is automated so its pretty easy when you have an account. You get a big discount using a transponder box on your dash to pay the tolls and they bill you monthly. Luckily I don't pass any tolls on the commute to work so it doesn't really cost me much. I have still got my studded tyres on the car until next month when you change to summer tyres. That's something that the UK could do with bringing in! Maybe studs are excessive for the UK but winter tyres with decent treads do make a hell of a difference.

Me and my family where involved in a head on back in September so cars really have been on the back burner for me. But its still looking well, I used it for my wedding car. Hows Norway?

Norway is cracking, me and the missus moved out here for good so we wont be back to the UK for a very long time (if ever). Loving the life out here and settling in fine. Will post up some pictures of our adventures this summer. If you have never been here its a beautiful country!

Working on Ekofisk & Valhall fields at the time. I enjoyed it although the job got a little boring so I chucked it in and went to Russia instead. I might go back one day the outdoor lifestyle is really good. Agree with the winter tyres, I have some on the Shark right now.....studless of course :)
