I saw it and being Auto thought it would suite me as a second car for the family. Whilst i have blacky i can use that to Burn about in. The 855r will be kept standard for a nice smooth drive. :)

Cool beans mate, look forward to seeing the results!
I can't wait to get mine back now and crack on with it. It's been at the body shop for 3 odd weeks now, and he's barely started it, I'm getting impatient! I've got myself some brand new AP calipers now, it's the only way forward!

Me too.....just can't justify it at the moment tho with the amount I am out of the UK. Plus I am trying to get a bit of cash together for a business venture so might never happen. Tired of working for the Man!
That said, our lass is job hunting again so if we end up somewhere civilised I could see myself in one of those (a W211). For now just too much fun to be had fiddling with the S70, glad to see you went the same way!

Lovely car and thank god its got the dark interior, really can't stand the ones that have that birch wood effect. Lovely brakes until its time to replace the discs as I hear they are around £600 a pair to replace.

£280 for a pair from Rayland + £30 odd for new bolts to bolt them to the bells. And they are better quality than the AP ones from what I understand.

I thought you could only use AP discs, that's good news if another brand disc is now available. My M3 standard discs are £300 a pair

Blimey all this talk about R's lol Ive had a t5r before and didnt relise that R owners club together pmsl. To me its just a nice t5 (OMG) there is obvious differences, and they are not just a dressed up t5, But since most 850's are modified, the parallels between the 2 cars get closer imho and a well moded 850 t5 can be better than any normal 850r/t5r.
Thanks for the kind comments from everyone :)
