Having had a Accelerator pedal - Signal faulty code on Vida the last time it was read i decided to source a replacement from Shinsplitz and change it. What a bloody nightmare!!! i ended up upside down on the seat, with my head in the footwell, and my arms well and truly jammed up the back of the dash to get to the fixing nearest the wiring loom! done and all fixed now!

It's not just P2s, in the P1 there is a relay stuck up above the brake pedal that you have to be very bendy to get to. ;)
i bet you was relieved when it work lol well done :)
Yes was really impressed, all clear on Vida and a load better to drive. ETM clean at some point over the next week so more fun to look forward to
It's not just P2s, in the P1 there is a relay stuck up above the brake pedal that you have to be very bendy to get to. ;)
It's not exactly the easiest place to get to. the last time i was like that was in my old 2.0 changing the automatic clutch adjuster to manual as my uprated clutch had munched it.
So that's the excuse for foot marks on the head lining.:shockedbi
Not sure it will cover the stiletto marks though :-\
Pics? didn't happen without them ;) lol
TBH i was planning on taking pics and doing a 'how-to' but when i looked at it and realised there was no way i could take photos of it in situe i gave up. My neck keeps reminding me that it definitely did happen lol. cant turn my head to the side without a shooting pain down my neck. I'm getting too old for this now lol.

The best thing is, having checked VIDA beforehand for any tips it lists removal in 4 simple steps: -Remove sound proofing -undo fixings -unclip plug and cut strap -remove pedal Not exactly that easy
