What headlight bulbs do people recommend on the s60/v70s? I need to replace a few. Halogen bulbs only. (dipped and main)

I've been using the Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs in the S60 during winter, big improvement over the bulbs that were fitted before. I'd recommend them.

I'm getting confused now, seems to be the same bulbs from 2001 to 2006, no mention of H9 and partsforvolvos doesn't seem to do bulbs for main beam, HB3/9005.

buy thru egay or amazon then.... if your still confused lol have a look at your old bulb...

Pre facelift and non r models are hb3.
Pre facelift and non r models are hb3.
When i put my plate in, it comes up with hb3/9005 (60w). But my car is a facelift and the manual does say H9(65w)

dude, just pull off the cap and go see ;)
dude, just pull off the cap and go see ;)
No, that would mean moving. The manual says H9, so thats what i'll get, i think my number plate has my car as a pre-facelift, when i go for 2005> it then comes up with H9.

Does anyone actually do H9 bulbs? Can only find OEM stuff.

What are they like then, colour, pattern, distance? Bloody cheap, when compared to the osram or philips stuff.

I couldn't go back to halogen from hids, just ordered a set for the dipped & front fogs on the bimmer

Normal bulbs are fine for me, i don't have any need to blind people coming towards me ;)
