At vw meet last week end , 3 gear grifters were selling for 175 quid !!! Top bits of kit !!
Well, as I'm in bed and the bikes wrapped up it'll have to be a Google pic. Bought one of these late last year and it's been out about 10 minutes... http://www.sunsetmtb.co.uk/images/shop/pfullsize_2058_1349270479.jpg
There's got to be more bikes than this on the forum! Anybody else??
No, I learnt to drive, so I didn't have to cycle anywhere. :P
This is mine, A Moser Soarer, Done 1,250 miles on her this year, more than both of my 850's lol
No, I learnt to drive, so I didn't have to cycle anywhere. :P
Funny you should say that, my personal policy is if it's up to 6 miles > Run. If it's 6 - 50 miles > Cycle. And if it's 50+ miles > Drive!
Don't currently have a bike, had a habit of buying a bike for £200-300, riding it a few months then selling and doing the same again. This was my last...
This is mine, A Moser Soarer, Done 1,250 miles on her this year, more than both of my 850's lol
Looks good! That's a solid 10 miles per day average, every day! I was out of the country for 2 months but i've still probably only done 100 miles or so this year. This was my most recent ride, yesterday after work: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/490235774
So you do wash your cars more than you drive them. lol
I like to keep my cars in the Best condition possible mechanically and cleanlyness , they get washed/wiped down after every trip and serviced every 2.5-3k :)
So every 2 to 3 years then. :D
or 6 months which ever is the soonest

Thats a Beast!
I had a grifter years ago, in fact, I've had 2. Built my own hardtail downhill bike in my late teens and would do a 26 mile round trip to work 5 days a week plus a 12 mile round trip to see the girlfriend most days too. I put so many miles on that bike it would cost too much to repair so I bought a bargain carerra Craken which I've barely used since passing my test. It comes out now and then if I go fishing somewhere the car can't get to.
Bloomin heck lol thats good miles bud
Bloomin heck lol thats good miles bud
I know my physique doesn't agree these days but I was quite athletic before I met the missus.
I got 1 of these about a year ago must have done about.........20 miles on it up to now when the weather is right its also right for the roof to come off the car...and i am afraid car wins!
