As I've not had time to pull my finger out & decide what I'm doing car wise I've seen this & really like it.
Find it odd hlm have had it & it's not mapped....
I'd be tempted with a straight swop, anyone familiar with the car?
Cheers.

Half the mileage of my v70r, black interior & looks clean enough.
Bit sceptical as to why it has a 19t & standard power. Pedro reckons it should have a viscous lsd with an m59 box.
I'm still looking, I like the civic but the ride is harsh on the wife's double g's & I miss the room of the bullion.
I've just not had time to clean it & list an ad. :)

Bit confused on this one as hamish did have a s70r once upon a time and it was mapped but it had a 16T and was sold on to a bloke with.user name KFC lived over Bewdley way I think did go back up for sale but then got the sump ripped off don't know what happened to it after that.

KFC still frequents Vpcuk I'm sure, maybe a message to him is in order.
I want a genuine example really & not one that's had sumps ripped off etc. lol

Ok mate, will sit down later & do my homework. I'm unsure of hamish's username though? Any ideas?
Jamesy she's been measured for a maternity bra & that is correct. Most welsh girls are stacked. ;)
Thanks for the responses guys.

I remember it well Hamish bought it for around 400 quid and sorted all the running problems. Nat hated the colour though so despite his plans to race it it had to go!

Welsh girls rule! Good thing is they just get bigger as the pregnancy go's on. :)
Read those posts jamesy, seems a while since any things been posted on the car so I've got in contact with kfc & it's got a good selection of mods.
Cheers for the input, it sounds great for my needs if it's not been abused.
Think a custom map will be on the cards straight away if a deal can be passed.
My mrs will have a fit with another saffy but guess she'll get used to it.. ;)

Depends if the owner fancies a deal with my civic first boys.
Also depends if my well trained volvo eye passes it off.
I won't be buying another money pit & pretty chuffed I'll be able to lower this one properly. Lol
Thanks though boys, it's good to feel missed!
The type r/ep3 forums are really poor & immature. Lol

Just sent one. Maybe it's a sign...
I'd be happy with a t5, it doesn't have to be an R model. S70 c70 or v70 manual.
Cracking V70t5 on eBay but with velour interior & 98k.
The guy has text back saying it provisionally sold. :(

Shame its gone mate, always a bummer when you set yourself up for something but then find its too late!
Still as you say, maybe its destiny and another better car waits around the corner?
Post 709247 by Biff on 2014-05-05 21:21:12
Cheers Steve! Lol
I think it's fate Emlyn, my civic needs a lambda & a good detail as it's full of sand/grass & dog hair so it's probably best I clean it, sell it & then look for the right car.
Ideally I would like something a bit more subtle but beggars can't be choosers. Lol

Not neccesarily an r mate. I fancy a sleeper.
I'm going to get the civic up to scratch & see what's available when I have the readies.
I really fancy an s70 as think I may struggle with a c70 & a baby seat.
Wales is a great place. :)

Both Charlie's car seats have fitted in the back of my C70 fine, but if you do go for one, make sure it doesn't have electric seats, as you have to wait half an hour (maybe a slight exaggeration) for the seat to slide forward electrically.

I nearly bought this S70 off kfc but it sold just before I managed to sell my 205, it seems to slip through our fingers!
Just to say, I just got a backwards facing baby carrying craddle thingy in the back of the C70 I had but it was a very tight fit, I was sat upright and cramped! I'm 6ft.

Not so much of a problem if you put the car seat behind the passenger seat. ;)

I was quite intimate with the 19T on this S70R as it was stuck on all of my cars for about 8 years (it did the rounds). It was fully rebuilt before going on. I know that that S70R was probably brought up to spec prior to sale. I think my old Feritta D/P was used in the conversion
I think it was quite solid apart from the colour LOL
As for the lack of map - I guess the guy who bought it didn't get around to mapping the 19T properly.

saffy is the way forward on all others
Post 710098 by Biff on 2014-05-08 20:49:17
Well I've not heard off the chap so it sounds as though it's been sold. Maybe it will turn up again soon. Lol
Sounds like a good car & exactly what I need as a base for a long term project.
I think that Gul is tidy but I think a saffy is as bold as I could go Geoff. I know the 850's are quality cars but for the condition I'm after it would prove expensive. The fact it's been standing for 9 years puts me off. I want a car that's been used but looked after & within my price range which will probably be around the £2k region unless my job interview go's ok in which case I should be able to add a bit more to my funds & get something special.
Thanks for keeping me in mind though & please keep looking lads.
I will return in a volvo...!

To be fair mate that was a shed lol, and although the engine worked, it smoked like a trooper. But I know what you're saying, the S70's in any guise don't fetch a lot of money, no-one seems to like them, and honestly I can see why, I think our T5 looks ugly, and unbalanced, although I like the look of an S70R, the spoiler, and R front bumper improve the looks no end.

there you go again how the ££££ was it a shed? i changed the turbo prior to the sale which cured the smoking,, the spoiler on them is the same as a t5 mate

It looks lovely there, but that's not how you sold it. The wheels were very ropey, the back part of the exhaust had fallen off, that's an 854R spoiler not a T5 one, although our T5 doesn't have a spoiler. i put the standard spoiler back on, put jims ropey wheels on and the exhaust trim fell off on the way to uxbridge lol its still the same car body wise, so just the crap wheels turned it into a shed?

Post 712471 by stribo on 2014-05-17 18:58:48
The crap wheels, the smokiness, the missing rear part of the exhaust, and the fact you were bouncing off the rev limiter going up the road from the RR place, which at best could be called a cart track, yes mate, when I saw the car it looked like a shed.
And parked next to Ian's car, both of ours looked like sheds.
