Right, best start off by introducing myself before getting into things here!
I'm the recent owner of a D5 S60 (163bhp), the old girls a 53 plate with 164,000 on the clock. Its in reasonable condition besides a few war wounds and mechanical quirks I hope to address, mainly the rear passenger door which features a large dent courtesy of the postman, a few interior niggles and a turbo bodge fix I'd like done properly.
Servicing has been pretty comprehensive with oils, cambelts and what not done in due time, the only thing worrying me at the moment is the DMF and clutch when it decides to go, expensive stuff!
I'm currently undoing about 10 years of what can only be classed as, appalling detailing lol. The interiors in the process of having everything shampooed, hoovered and treated. The same goes for the bodywork but I'm slowly taking that one panel at a time to save my sanity and shoulders. I just did the bonnet with a clean, clay, and the meguiers 3 step jobber.
Anyway, look forward to badgering you all with endless questions, queries and otherwise annoyingly obvious things!
