There was a biology quiz on FB - which got me thinking. Are any of you interested in science? I worked as a medical research technician back in the 90s. To my credit I was only published the once in the Journal of Pathology - http://tinyurl.com/kd2mjw6 Does anyone else here have any published articles (not including car mags) - or other achievements they want to share.
I delivered some database solutions for Shell up on the Sakhalin field.
I used to work out there Dave, they had a nightmare with tagging all of the stuff requiring maintenance - valves & whathaveyou...mainly down to the Greenfield contractors not giving a stuff about such matters, onshore mainly, offshore wasn't too bad....apart from the Molikpaq, first fixed rig ever in Russian waters. Used to be Shell then Gazprom took over as the major shareholders, although just about all of the Shell systems remained I think. Image
