Got a chance of fitting a new set of Diamond Cut Ixons 18" for the sum of £1500.00 is it worth it. Must admit they look the dogs 8ollocks on a S60 in Black anybody got any comments. What do you think I would get for my existing 18" wheels unmarked, not sure of the name. This is a cosmetic modification not needed just think they would look good. Show off my newly sprayed callipers in silver.

They would look awesome mate. If you can spare the outlay for a mod like this then I say do it.
Your old ones could go for £500, maybe more.

Those are a variant of the Ixion, normally, they're diamond cut anthracite and don't have the knobbly bits.

To save money what a about a re-spray of the existing wheels but not sure if I went for a re-spray how dark a gunmetal grey I should use. If I did get £500 for the existing wheels my outlay would only be £1000 which I suppose is not bad. I do like those Ixon's.

So whose wheels are these I suppose not OEM type. From past experience I am always a worried about replica's. These do look like the genuine but you can never tell nowadays.

Those are bolted to a polestar S60 on display somewhere so I'm pretty sure they're real.
There's a few variants of the Ixion, on one, the spokes are hollow, this is called the Sleipner. There's also the Balder, Zephyrus, and the Morpheus
I can't find the one above in any listings tho.

The 4 Ixons available on eBay going for a grand with 225x40x18 delivery milage only with 225x40x 18 Dunlops. Not a bad buy swop my 235x40x18 sell the Dunlops £400 set of 4 as new sell my wheels £400 I am very tempted. As could be a great deal and I get a set of new Ixons.
Being a bit nervous at buying on eBay and spending a grand without any guarantee. If cracked I could loose a lot but by buying new direct from Volvo my rear is covered. I put it down to age as been caught out buying from eBay. I am however surprised that they have 225 instead of 235. Does this cause a problem. Thanks for the details.
