Hello all, I have just purchased a lovely 2008 C70. Great car great drive, I love it. However the service light will not go out. I have done the button pushing and heard the beeping but the message is still on. It only had a service 3 months ago. I was also thinking of getting more mpg by having the engine remapped, will this get rid of the message at the same time?.......how much more mpg could I expect after the remap and can anyone recommend a garage in South Wales to do the work?

HLM will clear service lights and check codes prior to mapping but it'll be worth seeing if the lights on for another reason first.

GRN will do the same, they are both in Bromsgrove.
As for extra mpg, I get 3-4 mpg extra but tbh once you have the extra power you tend to use it and so your economy may actually go down !

thought it would be more than that, looking at the boxes you just plug in they say 20% extra on the mpg, are these better to get or are they talking crap?

If you have either a D5 or T5 version I can offer you a Swedish written MTE map for £395 including VAT which you can install yourself with a laptop so no travelling....
On the subject of a service light you really do have to get it reset by a dealer or approved service agent, surprising that was not reset when the last service was done.
