I picked up a 2002 V70XC earlier this week. It has 158,000 miles on the odometer. I was searching the web for problems with the dash instruments/message display not consistently working correct and came across the VPCUK site. I have a few other minor issues to sort out, too. My first impression is that even with the issues, it seems like it could be an outstanding vehicle. I really like the comfort of the leather seats (it is too bad they look so poor - cracked leather everywhere). This is actually my 3rd Volvo wagon. I had an 86 240 and a 92 740 in the past. Some of my other current automobiles include an 86 Porsche 944 turbo, a 92 Mercedes 500E (electrical/computer issues) and a 2008 Toyota Highlander (wife drives).
