Hopefully a respray, will give her a good look over to decide how far to go, at present I think she is good enough so will be late next year for paint I'm thinking, over winter

That will never happen mate, not whilst there's a beat in my ticker, I have always wanted a Gul T-5R but none about when I bought the olive estate, 7 years ago, so it will be nice to have the saloon to complete the pair

Good purchase she's a very tight car and handles the nutts, I never thought the paint was bad tbh, Just the rear 1/4 :/ glad she's gone to a good home. I hope she's on her Titans too

Poor old car! she keeps getting bought then sold again! When I sold her many
Moons ago the chap said like all the people who previously bought her about getting a respray but never seem to have happened lol. Can't wait to see the car fully restored was always a good car when I had it :)

If I didn't have so many cars, then I wouldn't even have thought of selling her. She's not being used enough for my liking, so that made me think that someone else should enjoy her, who will use her. If she'd been an estate car, then I could have used her a lot more.

What's rarer the estate t5-r's or the saloons in the manual form of course :D as when I was looking for another saloon I simply couldn't find one not even an 850r LOL

To be honest, they were mods that I had lined up for her, but only messing!! She has got black mirror covers on, but still has the gul coloured ones as well to go with her, but besides that, a K & N air filter and strut brace, and that's it.

I can't wait to drive her, as I know she will be completely different to the olive estate, as that is quite different to Claymore's T-5R, when we drove them back to back just to see what each others car was like for a comparison. OK there is approximately 150,000 miles difference between Colin's car and mine and I think the heaviness of mine is due to wear and tear and getting the end of service life of steering and suspension components, which were in line for replacement but have been shunted back a few months as I could not let Mark's Gul slip by.

Me too. I always wanted an 855 in Gul yellow, but these days I'm preferring the 855 in Olive and the 854 in Yellow
stands out where the olive blends in.....lol
