Mine was spending the day with family and friends and seeing the kids having a great time. Living on the South Coast we are very lucky to have some great beaches and water sports facilities all within a stones throw from where we live. So off we all went to Sandbanks with kayak and wind surfers. Kayak arriving in style on the roof of my mates XC70 AWD D5 Image Camper van behind was also in our group which was used for cooking the sausages and burgers. We also brought along ours and a friends Labradors. Ours is the golden one. They didn't want to be left out so they came onto the kayak. Image My son and his mates making there way to Brown Sea Island Image Image My daughter and her friend on the wind surfer board Image The dogs got a real work out, always makes me giggle, no matter how many times you throw something they fetch and bring it back lol. Image Image Great day and something we will no doubt talk about in years to come. Got home absolutely knackered probably due to all the paddling about plus the temperature was 24 degrees and sunny which takes it out of you.

The folks used to have a caravan on the Isle of Wight, so our family days used to be similar except with jetskis & speedboats

Thinking about campers I was past by one of these today on the way back from the softies meet Labelled "CarreraBus". It was towing a jet ski that was hanging on for its life at 100. It sounded cool... Somedays a perfect family day is sitting in opposite rooms...!!!!

Don't have children but the perfect day out for Gemma and I is a trip to France or Belgium in the car, randomly select a city or town to visit and head off, breakfast on the boat, bit of sight seeing, bit of shopping, afternoon dinner then back home.

I had the perfect family day today. Packed the little one off to her Nans, the Missus was at work and I got to spend some quality time with a cylinder head and a die grinder. Lovely.

Kids grow up so quick, make the most of days out together. Treasured memories can never be taken away. I usually work weekends so don't get a lot of family time and its rare for my two, 15 and 11 to not be doing there own things.
