Are there any modernish Volvos without handbrake inside the disk, in other words a handbrake mechanism on the caliper?

My V40 has them... so potentially have a look in to Mitsubushi EVO brakes???

Mr Claymore i have a separate handbrake mech calliper that attaches to disc opposite main brake if this helps, they are from an F Type?? if you can mock something up
That would be worth looking at.
its only the s40/v40 and S40/V50/C30/C70 that had his setup. I vote for the jag setup, I even googled the new focus RS and in the pictures the rear calipers don't look any larger than the Volvo ones and they are a solid disc still on the rear. the old saab 900 model has the handbrake on the front calipers if that interested you !
Yep, I'm looking at Jaguar S type as a possibility
