Looking to get my wheels refinished so my question is paint or powder coat which is best? And what is the average cost per wheel.
Looking to get my wheels refinished so my question is paint or powder coat which is best? And what is the average cost per wheel.
Not sure which is better paint or powder coating but on average would say £50 to £60 a wheel
I pay £40 per wheel, that's powder coated and re fit and balance. Powder coat is all I use as it's much tougher, people I know spent £250 to have them painted and they suffered with stone chips and looked awful! 2 years later mine were still looking tip top.
Who do you use?
They don't do mail order and it's nit local to you, but lepsons I hear do a good job but costly
Had mine done by a firm in Exeter they did a great job will dig out some info for you.

They powder coat the base coat then paint the colour and then the clearcoat on top.

That looks really well done!
id say powder coated too, much more durable, i had all 4 of mine done at wheelclinic in northampton £240 plus vat including tyre removal and fitting

Just when you get a price make sure it with the vat included.
