[SIZE=3]Back due to popular demand our usual run into the North Wales to enjoy some fantastic driving roads and the Evo Triangle. We'll aim to meet at about 11.30 at one of the 2 cafes nearby ( numbers will probably dictate which it will be ) We'll do some laps of the triangle and then if people wish we can do a nice run over to Ruthin and on to Llangollen over the horseshoe pass. more details over the next couple of weeks. Did this in my 240 about 2 weeks ago, excellent route! Mate's Saab Ttid had trouble keeping up in the corners :D If im free ill pop along, but will be coming from the opposite direction to most of you :)

Thrilled to be going to this event for another year, many thanks must go to Adrian for allowing me to choose the date so it's possible for me to attend :) A great all round event for those who have never been, Plenty of driving and chatting in between. Great to hear and see the other cars moving! Plus I really do need a day of "Man Company" :)

[h=2]Hi Folks, A few times for our planned trip out for 2/11/2014 trip to the Evo-Triangle run, were you will get to try your Volvo out on Evo car magazines test route around some scenic and challenging North Wales roads, of which a full lap is approximately 20 miles.[/h][COLOR=#333333][INDENT]
As per previous years as numbers look small enough to use the usual cafe :-
11.30-12.00 Meet-up at the Cafe on the A5 at Cerrigydrudion (on the brow next to what was the Saracens Head pub for those that remember it) for a coffee and bacon buttie for those that want it.
12.30-onwards set off on a runs of the route we then we could re-group and then set off as we wish and do a flying lap or gentle one at our own pace (what ever that may be). We could also run round the route the other way aswell if people wish and if people wish we could take the run to Ruthin and the on over the Horseshoe pass to pick up the A5 at Llangollen hopefully before dark.
we would probably gather a mile end oswestry for the run up in the morning at about 10.30, for those coming for in shropshire/midlands etc. so thats it folks, hope that has got you grabbing your diary and marking the date, see you soon.

Good news....I'm off Bad news, I'm working late Saturday and early Monday, just a touch too far for us this time.
It was a good day! The rain was on/off which made the road conditions interesting to say the least! :D I have a couple of static photos i'll upload later!
Had a brilliant day....proper 'rip snorting through the Welsh countryside' type of day. One of the Best :B_thumb:
Had a great day, on the triangle, tricky conditions and a nice mix of cars and great people and special thanks to Nicholas and Islwyn are friendly photographers who came along and braved the elements to get some great shots of our cars (thanks again lads). Will get my shots up in a bit

As mrs biff is in day 21 of slow labour I really didn't want to leave her. Still gutted looking at the pictures! Lol Next year boys, gives me time to kill my nankang ditch finders & stick some ferrodo's in. :)
