We have a 5 year old golden lab called Lottie. Got home this evening and she is always at the front door waiting for any of us when she hears a car pull up on the drive way. Sat on the lounge floor and she comes over and gives me a cuddle.

our dog's very klingy. He normally sleeps in his own bed in the kitchen, but when he is allowed in our rooms he has to be leaning against you
i'm housing sitting looking after Lola this week, & the way she's been tonight she'll be going back in the bin before morning lol

She's my new dog.. Follows me everywhere.
Rescue dog, but not from a broken home, just someone who's job changed and he could take the time..
In fact there's three of them at the moment..

No dogs will ever travel in any of my cars... 'cos they stink.
Besides - if you've seen the mess little M-R-P makes, you'll see why I have no need for a dog.
Slobber,
muddy footprints,
snotty nose-marks on the windows,
bits of food,
smelly farts,
It's all there in a 6 year old bundle that is slightly less obedient but manages to refrain from sniffing peoples genitals or crapping on the carpet.
Post 745043 by T5frankie on 2014-10-28 08:48:48
Or people that own dogs get in your car covered in dog hair, and when you mention it they kindly brush it off in your car.....dirty gits...... Mike you must stink and you probably don't even realise it!
Post 745047 by M-R-P on 2014-10-28 09:06:18
Very accurate there Frankie but I can say from experience, Mike smells like Imperial Leather ;)

My life revolves around this bloody dog! Kept the old Shogun so he doesn't trash the V70!
Post 745049 by Biff on 2014-10-28 09:22:51
She has to lie leaning on us when we're chilling, she is the most adorable dog I've ever owned. So loyal, loving & obedient.
For the record, the only time she smells is when she's been in the sea. 2014 you can buy doggie deodorant's & shampoo's that give them a healthy coat. If her breath smells she has a tic-tac.
The biffs always will be dog lovers & a few dog hairs don't bother me, that's what hoovers are for!

Ha ha ha
When I bought my old Shogun, it had obviously been used as a dog-mobile.
Never did get rid of the smell, especially on a sunny day. Seats out, carpets etc, all scrubbed. Still stunk to high heaven!
Never really got on with 18mpg on diesel either! :(

My house stinks of dogs..... So don't come round.... They are better company, more loyal and don't bitch at you everyday than most humans.... Wouldn't have it any other way...
You want a lift... Your gonna get dog hairs, slobber and Generally grubby..
Anyone who doesn't like dogs is odd in my book...(suppose the point is proved..!!) lol

If you don't like dogs, then you are in a minority in this country. Cats on the other hand, microwave them all I say lol.

Oh ffs, don't get me started on cats, I would stomp every one of them if I could catch the little tossers. We've got a new ££££ing £££££££ feline moved in next door, and it's taken residence on the roof of my car(s), and has decided that my gravel parking area in my garden is it's litter tray. If I catch it, I'll ££££ing shank it I tell ya.
I've just ordered some of those ultrasonic cat repellers, I hope they fricken work. My neighbour thought I was having some sort of joke, when I told her how pissed off I was. She'll be getting all her ££££ back that's a dead cert.

I hate cat's as well, had the front of my house gravel and.the neighbours got 2 kittens then let them out after 6 months and my drive was their new litter tray, tried everything and the only thing that worked was chilli power bought in bargain 2lb bags sprinkled over the drive, they stayed off after licking their feet :)

Owning a large dog has a bigger environmental impact than owning a V8 rangerover.

My rescue staffie Bruno, had been badly treated when I got him as someone had put cigarettes out on his body and head and been starved.
But he has been a really loving dog and loves attention from people

I like just about any pet but haven't got enough space for a dog. Can't understand any cruelty to animals we have 3 rescue cats and have housed many many dogs for short term. Some make it, some don't. Great photos there lads

Mate when you get pushed to the stage I was the next was an air rifle, i didn't kill them and they got over it and after that a line around the border kept them out, having the front of your house stinking of cat ££££ is not nice

My kids come first, but guess what, It was my kids who wanted the dog lol. The look on their faces every week when we went to visit her as a new puppy was priceless. Now the whole family wouldn't be without her.
Our Lottie brings the family together, once a week we all even go for a family walk together over to Moors Valley as it's only a 20 minute walk from our house. That doesn't sound much but considering my kids are 15 and 11, getting them to do things with mum and dad is no easy task lol.
