Win win :)

Just a caution there have been a stint of car thefts involving ford cars mainly focus st's with push to start buttons apparently there's a security flaw that when you connect a device into the odb2 port you can start it without the keys, just put a steering lock on to deter would be thiefs.

Looks pretty nice. Definitely easier to live with and more reliable than the 850r. However, I'd still have preferred the Focus ST considering the engine under the bonnet. You can get these cars for exceptionally good prices though.

Just because some of us have other non Volvo car's doesnt mean we cant chat about other marques.
Also some of the members on here have made good friends via this forum and Volvo ownership, and it is always nice to catch up for a chat about Volvo's and other vehicles of interest.
The Title of the thread is about frankies new T5 (turbo 5 cylinder motor) which just happens tobe in his newly aquired Mondeo. If you dont like what you read in this thread move on.
Frankie unlike me still owns a Volvo, i still have interests in Volvo's and the many friends i have been fortunatly enough to have made on here. Thats why i continue to post view's on topic's that interest me on this forum.
It the people on the forum that makes the Forum, not the other way about.

Some very kind person on the Mercedes forum asked why I had sold the CLS500 and gone down market to a Volvo S60 T6. Mercedes great cars but over the years I have had a better service and quality from Volvo other than any other make. My Volvo score is 3 No V70 T5's. 1 No V40. 3 No S80 T6's and the best one of all is my new S60 T6 AWD. My Partner has preferred the Volvo range for comfort. she hated the Jaguars and disliked the Mercedes. She did however like the seats in the BMW M sport 116i. I have met a few members who frequent other forums and what surprises me is that they talk about the same subject each time they post. It takes all kinds to make the world go around. I joined this forum nearly ten years ago and topics still remain the same but a lot less aggro. I occasionally pop onto the T5 forum for a view. That's an experience in itself. You don't want to post the wrong thing on there. Lots of good topics though. The worst forum I have ever been on is the Volvo Owners Club Forum, did not last long before I got banned, not sure how it keeps running as hardly anybody now posts. It is about time there was a proper Volvo Owners Club sponsored by Volvo and backed by Volvo. Just my thought for the day.
