Hi, Just returning to Volvo ownership after a break of about five years. My previous Volvos have been a 1992 740, 1996 960, 1996 850 T5 saloon and a 1997 T5 estate. All have been auto. My ownership of Volvos ended after someone tried to steal the '97 T5, wrecking it in the process. Due to my Golf not living up to expectations I have returned with a 2000 V70 T5 estate auto. Lots of paperwork showing the service history is complete and has never been missed. The car is standard with the usual marks and battle scars expected of a car this age. the interior is above average. I suppose the only initial letdown is that the quality of the interior of the V70 is nowhere near that of the 850, but I guess that's progress. Everything works as it should but I am expecting to have the DIM repaired at some point as the previous owner has told me there have been one or two odd warning messages over the last 6 months. Doesn't concern me as it is a relatively simple and cheap repair, rather similar to the issue the 850s had with the ABS/TRAC warning light. Anyway, looking forward to enjoying this lovely motor and perusing the forum. If anyone knows of a good reputable Volvo specialist around the Woking/Guildford area I'd appreciate a heads up. Carlos
