Hi all, just gone a bought myself a Volvo V70 T5 and thought I'd introduce myself :)
Names Ciaran. Only 19 years of age. Owned 6 cars ( 4 were french! ) and finally got myself a decent car. Love everything about it and hope to meet a few people on here :)

My insurance when I was 18 on my V70 4 years ago was around £1800, and that's not even a T5!

My insurance is also £1800 approx, but for the T5. Although I do have an accident declared on my insurance for when I crashed my old 306. Rookies mistake. Shouldnt have bought a french car haha

1800 quid insurance, no offence but that can't be far off the value of the car...madness

None taken, But I have paid worse haha.
It's not actually too bad, considering the amount of car for my age :) Remember I am still only 19 ha. My 306 was Over 2k insurance along side my Mitsubishi and 406.
Much happier with this car and everything it has to offer :)

Don't remind me haha.
I want to change so the car is lower, but part of me wants to keep the suspension, just add bigger better wheels :D

Easy trick is to remove the nivomat shocks from the back, sell them for about 100 quid on fleabay then use the money to pay back the person you borrowed 60 quid from to buy standard shocks.
This'll lower the back end a little and at least level the car off. You'll lose the huge load carrying capacity tho.
