Hi,
I'm Matt and I'm into VW's...... However I've always hankered after an 850 T5R and I'm at that stage of life where I could possibly buy one. I'd like one in red with black interior and I think I'd like an auto?! So I'm trying to garner some info on what year is best and what are they like to look after... Ideally I'd like someone kind who is in the north west area to give me a test drive of theirs so I can actually drive one before continuing (I'm fully insured to drive anything). Was thinking of the later V70 but they all seem to be AWD which worries me as they could get expensive to fix? Anyway, this is me saying hello, hello.

Hi Tim, welcome to the forum. I don't think the T-5R came in red, though the 850R did.

That's very nice of you, I'm at least a couple of hours away but I do some work in Wrexham so if I get a job there I'll pm you if that's ok.

No problem. I'm sure we could tie something up.
