Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Anthony but more commonly known as Pad and I live in Brighton... That clears up the username then :p
I bought judgeninjas S40 T4 from him yesterday so I guess some of you know the car. I wasn't particularly looking for a Volvo... Just wanted a cheap winter car really but bit of a bonus that I've bagged one with a bit of poke as I do like a quickish car :D
Never had a Volvo before so this is a first for me... My car history is extremely varied ranging from droop snoot Vauxhalls, quick Jap stuff (Skyline, Supra, Pulsar), some quick Saabs including a 300hp 9-5 Aero, couple of Porkers and Mercs but far and away my most prolific habit is BMWs including an M5, various E30 325s and I currently own an Alpina B3S, one of only 35 rhd models.
I've no particular plans for the Volvo but you never know where these things go... :). In the meantime, look forward to learning more about a new marque (for me..)

Considering how it's pretty much standard, I saw that car make over 220bhp on the rollers. Proper little rocket ship that.

Someone else here who's gone from LET engined corsas, scooby's, GT4's a whole line up of Beemers (still yet to own an M though) and was actually about to prepare to go down to Derby to get a 9-3 Aero.....then pretty much tripped up smashed me face off the T5 and that's what graces my drive to this day!haha
Unbelievably good cars! Miss my rear wheel drive but you can't beat the understated slerperishness of a Volvo!
Used to get nothing but stick off the lads at work for driving a Grandads car.......they've all gone a bit quiet since they were tring to keep up with the tail lights on the dual carriageway on the way home one night though! :-)

Welcome to the fold, cracking car the T4 handles and goes pretty well even in standard form, on the plus side there's a fair amount of Mitsubishi Evo III stuff that bolts on and then later Evo stuff that's modified to fit the III, like Brembo brakes ;)

Welcome. Volvos are quite addictive. I'm an x bmw driver, my e36 m3 lasted me 48 hours. Valuable lesson with RWD cars.
