Post 752351 by foammanmark on 2014-12-20 19:29:32

I'm planning a project at some stage, nothing too major, but something I can post a fair bit about.

Post 752355 by claymore on 2014-12-20 19:38:27

Just looked at my post count, I was quite shocked as I was looking to see how far off 6k I was.

Post 752357 by foammanmark on 2014-12-20 19:39:55

Like me, without realizing you have passed it, sometime ago!!

Post 752358 by Hound on 2014-12-20 19:46:35

I have much to learn!

Post 752365 by foammanmark on 2014-12-20 20:04:23

So have I, I've just posted a lot in the past.

Post 752385 by V70 Graham on 2014-12-20 21:00:11

Post 752387 by foammanmark on 2014-12-20 21:01:40

The goal posts have been moved again!! Oh well, head down until I reach the 10k................
Lol, thats alot of waffling :-)
It's surprising though, in that you only have to get a few chats going, and your post count can fly up.
It's surprising though, in that you only have to get a few chats going, and your post count can fly up.
Yep, im surprised too, graham and others only joined a month pre/post from when i did and they smashed 10k posts in no time

How would that Simota intake be on my me7 C70 please G?

Post 752398 by AcidicDavey on 2014-12-20 21:58:49
How would that Simota intake be on my me7 C70 please G?
It should be fine, they have a 3inch inner diameter so an easy fit ;)
It should be fine, they have a 3inch inner diameter so an easy fit ;)
I have a JR panel filter at the moment, which I'm happy with, but a Simota.................

Post 752404 by AcidicDavey on 2014-12-20 22:07:50

The engine bling is worth it alone :D Image04-03-14 001 by AcidicDavey, on Flickr

Bloody nice engine bay you have there!!

Post 752408 by AcidicDavey on 2014-12-20 22:19:12

Cheers! That's an older photo now but a bit of paint brushed onto the cam cover and the rest cleaned with the plastics dressed in Meguiar's Endurance Tyre Gel (great stuff for plastics!) ;) I've changed to a BSR induction cone now though, the Simota was too quiet for this particular chav :P

I had the BSR cone/blanking plate on my R, and the noise was great.
I have a JR panel filter at the moment, which I'm happy with, but a Simota.................
I'll have the panel off you :)

Post 752418 by foammanmark on 2014-12-20 22:40:26
I'll have the panel off you :)
If I go for the Simota, you're welcome to it Sir. Think I've cleaned it twice at the most. Every 5k or so, and you can have cleaner/oil as well.

Post 752423 by BIG G on 2014-12-20 22:54:03

The simota is very nice mark, those who have it, a very few have anything negative to say about it. Makes a great sound mate.
The simota is very nice mark, those who have it, a very few have anything negative to say about it. Looks awesome though.................

Didn't like the sound of the simota on mine and it didn't spool as fast as an open cone either. Flogged it for 35 quid to munster iirc.

Good luck, cod that's going to require a reply to every pointless thread!!!
