Wow they look awesome they truly do suit the car

Post 753050 by mitchyboy01 on 2014-12-25 00:02:12

WOW! They look the shizzle mate. I saw them on a foreign S70R once and thought they looked amazing. You just need to go a tiny bit lower at the back IMO and it will be perfect. My new fave wheel combo for the V70.

That looks the dog's wheels really suit it

Post 753153 by LiamT4 on 2014-12-25 21:55:45

When i read what wheels you'd bought i was thinking, my mate had some of those on his s3 and while they looked great on that, i'm not sure they'd suit an old v70.....................................but i was completely wrong. The 1st pic of the whole car with the wheels on made me go "wow", they look f-ing brilliant. Very cool:cool:

Post 753154 by Nealevo on 2014-12-25 21:59:35

Very popular on the vw scene, I think they may become popular on here too, that looks the nuts mate, I like people who think outside the box.

Post 753155 by merc85 on 2014-12-25 22:23:19

As ive said from day one this car looks the nutts, and those wheels really do just finish it off nicely TOP JOB :)

Post 753165 by AndysR on 2014-12-25 23:16:47

Stunning, didn't realise these were direct fit, in that I thought the stud spacing would be different... Fantastic the car looks simply stunning you must be really pleased with the results!

Post 753167 by merc85 on 2014-12-25 23:19:13

i thought VAG and Porsche stud patten was 5x112 tbh

Not the first time these wheels have been used for an x70 they look great

Post 753258 by AcidicDavey on 2014-12-26 19:09:49

Cheers everyone :) Porsche are 5x130 and I got 20mm adaptors made by Superforma.co.uk I had a set with Porsche threaded studs so I'm now running wheel nuts. Locking wheel nuts would be a good idea but they will be very expensive! As some have said there has been one other guy on the American forums who had a set of these on his S70 then C70, they looked stunning I thought so I had myself set on a set ever since, this was 2.5 years ago!
