Gents I have owned Sweden's finest before in the shape of a Volvo 340 1.4. Stop laughing at the back! It was a fine machine and I scared many people silly with its sideways shenanigans but that was a few years ago now and i have had a few vehicles since. Anyway I am on the hunt for a 850/V70/S70 R/T5/T5R the catch being it has to be a manual and in good condition. I will be having a look through the forums to suss out any common faults etc and to start the search Cheery the now

I should have put my location in, I'm up in Inverness, Highlands. I'll be looking to spend about £1500 to £2000 for one. I'm in no rush to get one so will be looking for the best for my money

I would love to but with the time of year I can't really afford to put the budget up. I'm in no rush to get one and as time goes on the budget will go up just not right now

Welcome. My advice would be to keep looking, it took me 6 months, a bit of luck & a bit of fate to find mine. Another thing to look for is the less desirable t5 as the R's are going up in price. Good luck & the forum is a good place to come, I had mine viewed by a member first to make sure it was worth while to make the 300 mile round trip. We're dotted all over the country.
