Ok a date for brooklands Merc world, may 24th currently there is no events at brooklands on this date.
We have been having two here most years and the second is nearer Xmas.
How does this grab everyone a nice summer meet.
10.30-11am worked well
11.30 tour £2.50 til 12.30am
Lunch then hot laps at 1.30 onward £15
All above by choice
There is a multitude of things to do mostly free, if you haven't been then well worth going.
Maybe a list if those interested

I try and keep things as cheap as possible to allow / encourage more peeps to join in, remembering that some people travel along way in these fuel hungry monsters.

However there is no event on at brooklands and it's difficult to find a clear weekend in the summer.

Well today was the usual German, german and more German.... Turnout would rival VT on numbers, but wayhay being in competition isn't my biggest worry.
So Steve(family), Charlie(and friend) and I had a great day...

It was the 190SL owners meet. This gave the advantage of getting right beside the skid pan, but I didn't have my camera with me.

A bit of a warning is that the prices have changed. Hot laps is now £30 for the first passenger and £15 for each additional member.
They had a new F1 simulator £10 for 15mins. Which was nice, but the timing board included the simulators with the 10yr old kids with all the assists turned on. I was only 32 seconds behind Hamiltion for my lap of 02:08..!!!
Like fishing, I did do a clean and much faster lap but the timing had ended so it didn't count..
