Took my 156 in today for new rear shocks and I have a beautiful Brera courtesy car. Reg is T5 -OX, and although a great looking car, the reg is actually the best part of the car as it's a petrol with 205k on the clock. I've asked the Alfa guy how much he wants for the reg, as I want it for my C70 T5. If the ending had been COX, then it would have been worth a fortune and my surname, so I think it's probably only worth £250 or so with the 3rd to last letter that it has got. What do you think I should offer him?

If it's T5 BOX (especially going on a Volvo) then it's probably worth even more  I don't think anyone can value it without the last letter unfortunately. You can use a number plate website to guage the price with something very similar? Something like this: http://www.newreg.co.uk/valuations/newreg_valuations_form

T5 BOX would actually be a great plate! Sounds like you're right, don't forget to factor in transfer fee's both sides

There are only T5 AOX, EOX, HOX,UOX and WOX still available for £250.
Guessing it was a Twin Spark then :)
Yeah, but the garage said it was a 2.2, but the DVLA say it's a 2959cc car?

Did you lift the bonnet?? Yeah it'd be a 2.2 JTS or a 3.2 V6, there wasn't a 3.0 Brera. 2959cc is a 3.0 Busso like in mine!

I didn't think there was a 3.0 in the Brera, so I presume she was a 2.2. Didn't really put my foot down cos the wheel bearing noise was pretty horrific above 50. DVLA also have her down as being black, but with the vinyl wrapping, she isn't..............
