Bonnet opened a treat yesterday.. Came to it today pulled the lever it feels like it's trying..it isn't loose or anything But no ping and the bonnet remains resolutely closed Any suggestions please All help much appreciated Bonnietiler
Can you get someone to push down on the bonnet while you pull the lever....might just help if cable is still OK
Did you get this sorted? Don't understand why it would just stop. I always dropped a bit of graphite grease on the latching mechanism at each service.
Yes managed with a bit of the old Brute force and ignorance..Clearly the cable hadn't broken, so I got my head in the footwell and gave the cable a pull with a pair of pliers, there was a bit of a click and it seemed to do the trick, One of the locks had seized a bit, I got plenty of oil on it it and it seems to be behaving now.
