Advice please........ Having replaced a driveshaft I now have no speedometer. Wiring to the offside speed sensor is adrift at the moment (probably my fault). My concern is that the wires touched whilst bare and could this have damaged the speedo. As soon as the weather calms,I'll splice in new wire and connectors. Any thoughts?

Just replace the wire it's corrodes badly and can split under the plastic coating

Wires shorting won't cause damage? I know voltages are low but I expect the worst.

I don't think a Drive shaft change should affect the speed sensor...
